On Wednesday, the actor dropped the clue on Instagram, shortly after his first wife, May Edochie, spoke out against his plan to leave her for a second marriage.

May publicly chastised her husband’s gesture after stating in a post on Tuesday that her family and beliefs do not favor polygamy.

As a result of the outrage against Yul Edochie, who has been widely chastised by Nigerians for mistreating May, the actor said on Instagram that he feels compelled to speak out.

“SILENCE IS GOOD,” he wrote. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST ANSWER. IT’S COME TO THE POINT WHERE I’M GOING TO SPEAK.”

Netizens were divided in their reactions, with many believing that the actor’s admission may only exonerate him amid the backlash from Nigerians.

“Hmm, we’re waiting,” wrote @Bella. This long-awaited revelation might well prove him right.”

@Dema: “It’ll be intriguing soon…

We’ll be there soon, hear.”
