Tems, a Nigerian singer, appears on the soundtrack of the sequel trailer for ‘Black Panther.’

In the early hours of Sunday, Marvel Studios released the trailer for the highly anticipated film ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’

Tems offers a soulful performance of Bob Marley’s popular song ‘No Woman, No Cry’ in the teaser before shifting to Kendrick Lamar’s 2015 smash ‘Alright.’

The clip depicts a nation and family mourning Chadwick Boseman, who played King T’Challa in Ryan Coogler’s 2018 smash film.

“I am queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone,” Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassettz) could be heard wailing. “Have I not given my all?”

Boseman died in 2020 at the age of 43 after a protracted fight with colon cancer.

The sequel, helmed by Coogler as well, is set to be published on November 11, 2022.

Marvel did not replace T’Challa’s role in the upcoming film but did keep some cast members from the first installment.

‘Black Panther,’ a film with a largely black cast, was based on a fictional African kingdom.

The film broke numerous box office records and established new ones around the world.

The advancement extends Tems’ already excellent career in the global music industry.

The ‘Damages’ crooner rose to international notoriety after appearing in Wizkid’s blockbuster song ‘Essence.’
