Mr. Eazi reverts with “Personal Baby,” the bubbling latest single from his upcoming album, which is still unconfirmed.
“Personal Baby,” a dark and moody love song co-written with Afropop superstar Teni (“Billionaire”), reimagines Mr. Eazi’s smooth, mid-tempo Banku Music sound with hits like “Skin Tight” and “Leg Over.”
The song follows June’s “Legalize” as the second single from Eazi’s yet-untitled debut album, which has been in the works for nearly a decade.
Kel P, a Grammy-winning Nigerian hitmaker, produced the song (Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Angelique Kidjo).
The video, directed by Ademola Falomo, places “Personal Baby” in a dystopian, Blade Runner-esque future.
