Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Presidential contender in 2023, listed three major characteristics of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu on Tuesday.
Tinubu described Ize-Iyamu, the APC candidate for Edo State governor in 2020, as a true progressive, grassroots politician, and a formidable leader of men.
In a goodwill greeting released by his media office in Lagos in honor of Ize-Iyamu, who turned 60, the former Lagos Governor wished the celebrant good health and longer life.
“Today, I join his family, friends, and acquaintances in congratulating Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as he turns 60 on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022,” Tinubu remarked.
“Ize-Iyamu is a true progressive, a grassroots politician, and a fearsome men’s leader.”
“He has contributed significantly to Edo State and Nigeria, as well as to our party, the All Progressives Congress.”
“He was the APC governorship candidate in the Edo election in 2020.” Despite losing the election, he has remained active and committed to the party, making significant contributions.
“As Co-Chairman of the National Convention’s Election Management Committee, he recently worked with colleagues to organize a free, fair, transparent, and credible presidential primary.”
“I congratulate Pastor Ize-Iyamu on his achievements at the age of 60.” I wish him many more years, good health, improved wisdom, and God’s grace as he continues to make a difference in the lives of people in Edo and Nigeria.”
