Simi was recently assaulted quietly on social media by a person who criticized her choice of clothing.

“Baby, you need to replace your stylist,” the user said, which received a lot of likes, indicating that her followers agree that she needs a new stylist.

In an interview with The Punch, the mother of one underlined the attacks on her clothing by internet users she believes are trolls.

“I BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO HIS OR HER OPINION.” SOMEONE MAY SAY THEY DO NOT LIKE MY DRESS, SHOES, OR ANYTHING ELSE.

I DON’T FIND THAT SURPRISING OR OBVIOUS BECAUSE I HATE A LOT OF DRESSES AND SHOES. SIMI stated, “I LIKE TO BE COMFORTABLE IN WHATEVER I WEAR, AND THAT IS WHAT DETERMINES MY OUTFITS.”

The Duduke crooner added to her points by saying,

“ON SOCIAL MEDIA, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE EXPRESSED THEIR OPINIONS ON MY DRESS SENSE. I ‘HUMOUR’ THEM NOW AND THEN.

ON MY PAGE, YOU MAY EXPRESS YOURSELF, BUT DO NOT BE RUDE OR INSULTING. SOME OF THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THOSE COMMENTS ARE JUST FULL OF HATE AND GO ALL OVER THE INTERNET LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO SPREAD IT.

I’M AT EASE IN MY SKIN, AND ALL I WANT TO DO NOW IS KEEP MAKING GOOD MUSIC AND CONNECT WITH MY TRUE FANS.”
