Rihanna, a Barbadian-American artist, has been given her own status at the Met gala.
The musician, who was unable to attend the prestigious fashion show owing to her impending pregnancy, was honored during the event.
The Met Museum’s administrators paid tribute to her iconic fashion designs by erecting a pregnant monument of her at the museum.
The amazing singer thanked the Met Museum crew and Vogue Magazine, which organizes the annual Met Gala, on her Instagram page.
Rihanna posted a video of the status on her Instagram page alongside a thanks message.
She said she shut down the Met Gala in marble and wondered what is more Gilead than the prestige.
The video was captioned by Rihanna, who said,
“MARBLE MARBLE MARBLE WHAT COULD BE GILEADER THAN THAT? LOL! THANK YOU FOR THIS HISTORIC TRIBUTE, @METMUSEUM AND @VOGUEMAGAZINE! “Y’ALL ARE AWFUL FOR THIS ONE.”
