Rema has pleaded with ASUU, the Academic Staff Union of Universities, to end the current university strike.
Recall that the musician announced on Twitter: @heisrema that he had been accepted to study at the famous University of Lagos a few months ago.
“What if I told you I was accepted at Unilag?” Mom remarked, ‘I still need to acquire a degree,’ so see you guys in class!’
What if I told y’all I got an admission into Unilag? Lol Mom said I still need to get a degree sigh, oh well see you guys in class! ?

ASUU began a one-month warning strike on February 14th and prolonged it for another two months, citing the government’s claimed failure to honor its agreements.
On the 18th of April, Rema wrote on his Twitter handle that the school has been on strike since he was accepted to study at UNILAG.
His post stated, “ASUU, since dem gave me admission, I neva start school o, e don do nau!”
