Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has responded to the attack on Christian worshipers at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.
During Sunday service, gunmen suspected of being Fulani herders stormed the church, murdering around 40 worshipers.

The tragedy has sparked outrage in Nigeria and around the world, with many denouncing the brutal death of innocent believers.

Adeboye expressed regret at the attack in a post on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday, stressing that every soul counts before God.
“My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by this heinous attack,” he added.

“I’m at a loss for words to comprehend the wickedness that drives one human being to take the life of another.”

“Every soul matters to God, and I know He is deeply offended by this immorality.

“I pray that Godo continues to send such greetings. And may Nigeria never experience such carnage again.”
