Charles Onojie, a veteran Nollywood actor and film director, has suggested that contemporary Nollywood actors’ films lack originality.
The veterans’ efforts, according to Charles, brought Nollywood out of the woods and ensured its survival.
To prove his case, The Legendary Actor presented a vintage film he directed in 2006.
Pat Attah, Rita Dominic, and Monalisa Chinda Coker starred in the film Spirit of Love.
Monalisa was seen confronting her boyfriend Pat for sleeping with his housekeeper, Rita, in the video.
Charles challenged the next generation of Nollywood actors to own their roles onset in order to achieve the same degree of success as their forefathers.
He wrote;
“SPIRIT OF LOVE… directed by @charlesinojie in 2006”
Is there still time for actors to play characters?
You are not acting unless you raise your performance to the level of owning the part.
Salute to these tried and true role models.
