After more than 15 years in the entertainment world, popular vocalist M.I Abaga has announced his intention to alter his stage name.
The rapper, who got engaged a few months ago, announced the announcement on his Instagram page.
According to M.I, his final performance under his known identity will be on the 10th of this month in Lagos.
“After more than 15 years as Mister Incredible, I will be retiring the name “MI Abaga” and adopting a new moniker for my new endeavor because my new record is hard af and merits a new moniker.”
My farewell performance as mi will be on July 10th at “The Vibe,” where I will commemorate my history as Africa’s best rapper.
“I’ll see you all on stage,” he wrote.
