According to vocalist Stanley Omah Didia, better known as Omah Lay, Burna Boy is the best songwriter.
During a Pulse One On One Interview with Motolani and Kemi Smallz, he stated that he learned from the ‘Common Person’ crooner.
Omah Lay argues that he grew up listening to Burna Boy and that no one in the industry can compete with the Grammy winner’s pen game.
He also recalls declaring himself the best in songwriting, adding that previous to tweeting his thoughts, he almost said he was the second best behind Burna Boy.
”Hahaha! Nobody comes close to me with the pen”, he had tweeted.
Later, he texted the self-proclaimed African Giant to advise him not to take his tweet seriously.
The ‘Lo Lo’ revealed that he learned songwriting from Burna Boy and believes no one else is as talented as him.
Omah Lay stated once more that he spent his entire life listening to Burna.
