Ahmed Ololade Asake, also known as Asake, a budding musician, has disclosed how he was signed to Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation.
In an interview with Cool FM, the ‘Sungba’ singer said that he had texted Olamide since 2020 but had received no response.
He remembers going into Olamide’s DM and asking for assistance, while reminding him of how he supported his friends like Fireboy and others. He revealed that he and Fireboy attended the same school, but Fireboy appeared to have a breakthrough ahead of him, so he constantly used this against Olamide in an attempt to get his attention, but it didn’t work.
He also asserted that the release of ‘Omo Ope’ fulfilled his desire. He stated Olamide simply called and requested they meet, and when he arrived, Baddo simply asked if he wanted to join the family.
Asake, who was overjoyed, claimed that he didn’t hesitate to answer the question and agreed on the moment.
Overjoyed Asake stated that taking the contract conditions home and reading them before signing was a waste of time and that he just wanted to get started right away.
Olamide told the artist before the agreement that he had been following him for a long time.
