Music award Nobel prize musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, a.k.a. Wizkid, has stated that he is creating music for the next generation.
The honors musician stated that he is not generating wonderful sounds to be seen as the leader of the new school, but rather to encourage future artists who will take over.
Wizkid stated in an interview that he is making purposeful attempts to create Afrocentric sounds and instill pan-Africanism in all aspects of his life.
The creator of Starboy Entertainment declared that he wishes to leave a legacy that will be remembered long after he is gone.
He also stated that no musician has ever brought African music to the pinnacle, and he aspires to do so.
