An activist in the public eye Debo Adebayo, known as Mr. Macaroni, a Nigerian comedian, has given a powerful warning to Nigerian youths, only hours after former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu was elected as the party’s presidential candidate.
Macaroni stated in a tweet on the microblogging platform Twitter that every citizen has the freedom to support any candidate of their choice.
People who look at the current state of Nigeria and require someone to persuade them to make the right decision are obviously not tired of suffering.
HE TWEETED: “EVERY CITIZEN HAS EVERY RIGHT TO SUPPORT ANY CANDIDATE OR PARTY OF THEIR CHOICE!! AND THAT’S THE TRUTH. THAT IS DEMOCRACY!! BUT IF YOU LOOK AT NIGERIA TODAY AND STILL NEED ANYONE TO CONVINCE YOU ON THE RIGHT CHOICE, THEN SUFFER NEVER TIRE US BE THAT. I REST MY CASE.”
Sololoaded reported that Tinubu clinched the party’s ticket after polling 1,271 votes.
