Maua Sama was born on August 27, 1990, in Tanzania. Her most well-known work is as an R&B and Afro-Pop singer.
She began singing at a young age. Her parents were initially reluctant, preferring that she focus on her studies. She graduated against parental pressure and a desire to drop out of school to focus completely on her music.
Di’Ja, a prominent Mavin Records artist who is a vocalist, composer, and producer in his home Nigeria, contributes to the record.
