Yvonne Jegede, a Nollywood actress, has spoken about avoiding a robbery attempt on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge.

On Thursday night at 9 p.m., a man tried to rob her on the bridge, but she was lucky because traffic started moving.

She urged Lagos State to clean up the region near the Oworonshoki bridge.

The 38-year-old revealed her ordeal on Twitter on Friday.

“One guy almost robbed me on 3rdMB last night (Thursday) at 9 p.m.,” she tweeted. I was lucky in that traffic eased slightly, allowing me to move my car before he drove away.

“There is a need to clean up the area beneath the Oworonsoki bridge. This person jumped from beneath the bridge.

Women should be wary when traveling alone at night, according to Jegede, who recommended they stay in between automobiles if they couldn’t wait until morning.

“If you’re alone in traffic, park your car between automobiles rather than taking the fast lane (the final lane on your left).” Please, especially the ladies, keep put till morning arrives. “The town is going hungry.”
