The Manchester United team named goalkeeper David De Gea the Player of the Year for the 2021/22 season on Friday.
De Gea triumphed against Cristiano Ronaldo and Fred to win the accolade.
During the just-completed 2022/21 season, the Spaniard was a reliable performer for Man United, making numerous spectacular saves.
The 31-year-old was on the pitch for every minute of Premier League action and was frequently called upon to save his team.
During the season, he won a total of seven Man-of-the-Match accolades, second only to Cristiano Ronaldo.
In addition, the Spaniard was named Player of the Month in November, December, and January.
