Chinedu Bernard, an actress, collapsed at a church and was pronounced dead in a hospital.

Doctors at Enugu State’s East Side hospital reportedly verified the ‘Big Mama’s Stick’ actress’ death.

She was alleged to have slumped while cleaning the Chapel of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church within Enugu State’s Federal Housing Complex.

According to reports, one of the Reverend Fathers rushed her to the hospital with several church members.

According to reports, the Reverend Father who participated in transporting the late actress to the hospital was Rev Fr Uchendu Chukwuma.

Doctors, however, ruled the ‘Last Manhood’ actress dead.

The cause of Bernard’s death is still unknown.

Bernard’s remains have been placed at the mortuary.

The late Bernard, affectionately known as ‘Choco,’ appeared in films such as The Big Mama’s Stick, Money Fever, The Mad, The Last Manhood, Mad Love, and others.
