Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, often known as Black Sherif, is a Ghanaian musician and performer who is from Konongo. He gained considerable recognition with the publication of his street song “Second Sermon” in July 2021.
Konongo is a gold bar and manganese mining hamlet located in Ghana’s Ashanti region. The town is the administrative center of the Asante Akim Central Municipality. In 2012, the Konongo settlement had a population of 41,238. The distance between Konongo and Kumasi, the capital of Ashanti, is 52 kilometers.
This outstanding song is also featured in his just-released first album, “The Villain I Never Was EP.”
