Torre has agreed to a contract extension with Barcelona, which would keep him at Camp Nou until 2026.

Barcelona announced this on its website in a statement.

“This Wednesday was Pablo Torre’s first day in Blaugrana as he signed his contract with FC Barcelona and got to wear his new shirt for the first time in the Camp Nou,” the announcement read in part.

“He has signed a deal until June 30, 2026, with a 100 million euro buyout clause.”

Torre told the club’s reporters that “Iniesta and Xavi were my boyhood heroes” in an interview. “I swear I’ll give this team everything I’ve got.”

Meanwhile, according to Fabrizio Romano, Jake Clarke-Salter has left Chelsea as a free agent and signed a contract with QPR until June 2026.

Michael Beale, the manager of QPR, wanted the defender to join the Championship team, and the transaction was completed on Wednesday morning.
