Mr. Ejiro Otarigho, a truck driver from Agbarho town, Ughelli North LG, Delta state, has been acclaimed a hero after risking his life to drive a blazing vehicle out of a residential area.

It’s understandable that the man’s bravery prevented a disaster that would have wreaked havoc on Agbarho’s life and property.

The senior special assistant to the Delta State government, Agba Abraham, confirmed the driver’s safety and health while swimming in the inferno while sharing the courageous story on Facebook.

Agba Abraham penned the following:

“For averting a national tragedy that would have devastated lots of lives and homes in Agbarho Town, Ughelli North LGA, this truck driver, Mr. Ejiro Otarigho, deserves a National Honours.” See how the truck driver puts his life on the line to get the truck out of town and into a safe area. I implore all relevant authorities, both national and state, to take action. I spoke with Mr. Ejiro, and he is safe and sound.
